What is Miaowa GEO, and how is it different from an SEO rank tracker?
Miaowa GEO continuously monitors how Chinese exporters appear in overseas AI search. It asks buyer questions in a real browser on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot and Claude, then records whether the brand is mentioned, whether it is recommended, whether the facts are right and which sources are cited. It samples the generated answer, not keyword rankings or site traffic.

An SEO rank tracker follows link positions and traffic on a results page; Miaowa GEO samples the generated answer itself.
The four things we measure
- Mention: in unbranded discovery and comparison prompts, does the answer text name the brand (including aliases and the website domain)?
- Recommendation: where the brand appears in the answer order, plus a human-reviewed positive / neutral / negative sentiment label.
- Factual accuracy: 6 branded fact-check prompts test whether the AI describes the brand correctly.
- Sources: every cited URL and title is stored per answer, ready to hand to your content team.

How the data is collected
Every observation runs in a real browser through each AI product's normal web entry point, following the path a real user would take; we never pass off API output as a web result. On ChatGPT the prompt is only sent in a temporary chat with personalisation switched off, one fresh session per prompt. From the baseline batch onward a new cycle runs every 72 hours with the same frozen prompt set, which is what makes cycles comparable. Each run stores the answer text, a page screenshot, sources, timestamp, region, language, platform entry point, prompt version and exception status, and the raw record is hashed with SHA-256.
Free check, paid monitoring and the open-source repo
The free check at /en/geocheck costs nothing and needs no sign-up or phone number: enter a website URL and it audits machine readability (robots.txt, AI crawler access, static HTML readability and so on), returns a shareable result page and previews 5 suggested buyer prompts. It does not ask anything on any AI platform. Paid monitoring is where prompts are actually run, evidenced and re-measured on the selected platforms. The GitHub repository Saqierma/miaowageo (AGPL-3.0) contains only the readability engine behind the free check; the continuous collection system for the six platforms is not in that repository.
- Does Miaowa GEO do SEO or fix my website for me?
- Self-serve plans deliver monitoring and evidence only. Project and managed engagements add a human-designed prompt map, fact checks and an action list, with remediation work agreed in the contract. We do not promise any uplift in mention rate or placement.
- Is it related to Bulbasaur or other products with a similar name?
- No. Miaowa GEO is unrelated to 星盒GEO, 超级语言, 妙构 or 喵云, and has nothing to do with the Pokémon character. The website is miaowageo.com.
- Do you need access to my CMS or ad accounts?
- No. We only observe the public answer pages of AI platforms; no website back end, ad account or password of any kind is required.
