How do the open-source repo and the free check relate, and is paid monitoring in the repo?

The relationship is simple. The open-source repository Saqierma/miaowageo is the engine behind the free check at /en/geocheck, released under AGPL-3.0. What the free check does and does not do

Why paid monitoring is not open source

Paid monitoring uses real browsers that follow each AI product's normal web entry point to reproduce a genuine user's question path, running in an overseas browser environment. Every run stores the answer text, screenshot, sources, timestamp, region, language, platform entry point, prompt version and exception status, and raw records are checksummed with SHA-256. That collection, review and evidence-chain system is tightly coupled to client project data and is not released as open source. Its absence from the repository is a boundary, not an oversight.

What the open part is for

Because the access check is open, the conclusion that your site can or cannot be read by AI crawlers can be reproduced by your own team or a third party instead of taken on trust. A technical team can clone the repository, run the same checks locally and compare with the /en/geocheck result. 3. When you need to know whether AI actually mentions or recommends you, pick a self-serve plan on /en/pricing or scope a project through /en/contact.
4. During project setup the 50 prompts are fixed and frozen, and the baseline batch is created immediately afterwards.

Do the 5 free-check prompts carry over into a paid project?

They are a preview. A self-serve project fixes its 50 prompts (44 unbranded plus 6 branded fact checks) at setup; the preview can inform that, but the frozen set at setup is authoritative.

Can I build my own six-platform monitor from the repository?

The repository contains only the website machine-readability engine, with no six-platform collection, review or evidence-chain code. AGPL-3.0 lets you use and modify the published part within the licence terms.
