How often does Miaowa GEO run, and how many prompts per cycle?

Miaowa GEO monitors on a fixed 72-hour cycle. Once a project is configured and its prompt set is frozen, the baseline batch is created; a new batch is then created every 72 hours, giving roughly 10–11 cycles per subscription month. The cycle anchor is fixed at the baseline and does not drift with platform response times.

What runs in each cycle

• 50 prompts per platform per cycle: 44 unbranded discovery/comparison questions and 6 branded fact checks.
• Each prompt executes once per platform by default. With three platforms on the cross-platform plan, one cycle is 150 planned observations.
• Every run stores the answer text, page screenshot, cited sources, timestamp, region, language, platform entry point and prompt version.
• Technical retries keep the original task ID and are never counted against the client's prompt quota.

Can the interval be changed?

Self-serve plans (ChatGPT-only and cross-platform) do not expose an interval setting: 72 hours is the shared basis that makes cycles comparable. Project and managed engagements can agree a different interval and prompt count in the contract, but the interval stays fixed within a project; there is no ad-hoc burst sampling.

Why 72 hours rather than daily

Generative answers fluctuate on their own; the difference between two consecutive days is usually smaller than the difference caused by a model update or a change in sources. A 72-hour interval still yields more than 10 like-for-like cycles a month while leaving time for a human review of every cycle. Only reviewed observations enter the denominator; we do not optimise for a new number every day.

When does the baseline run start?

As soon as the project is configured and the prompt set frozen. The baseline has the same planned volume as every later cycle; it is not a reduced sample.

How many cycles in a month?

About 10 in a 30-day month and 10–11 in a 31-day month. The authoritative count is the list of batches in the workspace's monitoring log.

Can I trigger an extra cycle on demand?

Not on self-serve plans. Extra runs break the like-for-like basis and distort the trend.
