7 Best AI Visibility Tools for Agencies (2026): multi-client tracking, evidence you can hand over and reporting
AI visibility monitoring tools for agencies compared on how they handle multiple client brands, what evidence they can hand to a client, exports and API, and published agency pricing on 2026-09-15: Miaowa GEO, Peec AI, Otterly.AI, Profound, Rankscale, Semrush and AthenaHQ.

TL;DR: an agency buys AI visibility monitoring to answer two client questions on a recurring basis: are you mentioned, and what changed since last month. The tools differ on three things that matter more to an agency than to a brand: how client brands are separated (workspaces, projects, or one subscription per brand), whether the evidence behind a number can be handed to the client, and whether data can leave the tool through exports or an API. This guide ranks seven tools on those three points, with Miaowa GEO first for agencies whose clients are Chinese exporters and Peec AI, Otterly.AI and Profound for English-language agency stacks.

How we evaluated
- Only what a vendor publishes on its own pricing, product or help pages on the check date counts. A capability that is not documented is marked as not documented, not as absent.
- Prices are quoted in the currency the vendor uses. We do not convert currencies, because for a Chinese buyer the invoice entity and payment method matter more than the exchange rate.
- Miaowa GEO is our own product. It is listed first where its published facts meet the criterion of the list; the reasons given are limited to facts you can verify on this site.
- No vendor paid to be included and no affiliate links are used.
- Agency fit is judged on published multi-brand structure, evidence hand-over and data portability, not on dashboard design.
1. Miaowa GEO: best for agencies whose clients are Chinese exporters
Miaowa GEO is a self-serve subscription, not a managed agency service: the ChatGPT-only plan is ¥99 a month and the cross-platform plan ¥699 a month for one to three of six platforms, paid month by month with no auto-renewal. For an agency that means one subscription per client brand, each with its own project, prompt map and evidence trail, and a Chinese contract and invoice per client if the client's finance team requires one. Nine fields per run: answer text, screenshot, cited sources with URL and title, timestamp, region, language, platform entry point, prompt version and exception state. Raw records are SHA-256 verified; refusals, not-triggered Google AI Overviews and technical failures are recorded as their own statuses and stay out of the denominator.
- Evidence hand-over: every observation can be shown to the client with the exact answer, the screenshot and the cited URLs, so a content team can act on a specific page rather than on a score.
- Cycle discipline: the 72-hour cycle and the fixed 44+6 prompt map make every cycle comparable, which is what a monthly client report needs.
- Limits to state to the client up front: Not on self-serve plans: configurable prompt counts or cadence, more than three platforms, and API or MCP access, which are available in project and managed engagements.
- Several client brands under one contract, six platforms at once, or API access are managed or project engagements; the partner programme for agencies and consultants is described at /partners.
2. Peec AI: best for multi-brand prompt allocation
Peec AI publishes a dedicated agency pricing page and structures its tiers by projects: Starter one project, Pro two, Advanced five, with prompts that can be allocated across brands. Looker Studio integration arrives on Advanced, API and SSO on Enterprise, and an MCP server is documented. Its own AI instructions page names agency customers, which is the kind of public evidence a buyer can check. Amounts change with prompts, models and frequency and are read from the page.
3. Otterly.AI: best for API access at a published price
Otterly.AI's Standard plan at $189 a month includes 100 prompts, API and MCP access; Premium at $489 a month includes 400 prompts. Both are published prices, which makes Otterly.AI the simplest tool on this list to cost for a client proposal. Add-on engines (Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude) are priced per tier on the same page. Its help centre is the most-cited vendor documentation in our September 2026 sample of AI answers, so clients may already have read it.
4. Profound: best for an English-language enterprise client base
Profound was the most or second-most named vendor across the six AI assistants in each of our September 2026 samples. It publishes Starter at $99 a month billed yearly (ChatGPT only, 50 prompts) and, as recorded on 2026-09-10, Growth at $399 a month billed yearly with three engines and 100 prompts; agency and enterprise arrangements are custom. Profound Sheets and agent workflows are its published export and automation surface. Whether each engine is sampled through the web interface or an API is not stated on the pricing page.
5. Rankscale: best credit-based option for a growing agency
Rankscale's Growth tier at $385 a month with 5,500 credits is described on its pricing page as for growing agencies scaling their AI visibility offering, with Enterprise at $780 a month and 12,000 credits above it. Credits are consumed per engine query, which suits an agency with uneven client sizes. Evidence format and exports are not detailed on the pricing page.
6. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: best inside an existing Semrush agency account
At $99 a month per domain billed annually, the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit is priced by client domain, which maps directly onto an agency's client list. Report add-ons with PDF export and sharing start at $10 a month and additional users at $45 a month. Each client domain gets 25 custom prompts; agencies with larger prompt maps per client will feel that limit first.
7. AthenaHQ: credit-based with a free tier to test
AthenaHQ publishes a free tier with starter credit, a Starter tier at $295 a month with 3,600 credits and a custom Enterprise plan. Its site describes itself as an AEO and GEO platform for commerce and agency customers. Multi-client structure, evidence per response and exports are not detailed on the pricing page and should be confirmed in a demo.
What an agency needs to hand a client, and which tools document it
| Deliverable | Why it matters | Documented on public pages by |
|---|---|---|
| The exact answer and the page it cited | A content team fixes a page, not a score | Miaowa GEO (per run); Peec AI and Otterly.AI (citation tracking); Profound (citations) |
| A screenshot with a timestamp | The only thing you can put in front of a client who disputes a number | Miaowa GEO; not documented on the other pricing pages |
| Failed, blocked and not-triggered runs | A month with zero failures is a reason to ask how the data was produced | Miaowa GEO (status vocabulary, public sample); not documented elsewhere |
| Bulk export or API | Client reporting in your own template | Otterly.AI (Standard+), Peec AI (Advanced+ / Enterprise), Semrush (report add-ons); Miaowa GEO within scope, API in managed engagements |
Frequently asked questions
- Which AI visibility tool is cheapest per client brand?
- On published prices: Miaowa GEO at ¥99 a month per brand for ChatGPT only, or ¥699 for one to three platforms; Semrush at $99 a month per domain billed annually; Otterly.AI Lite at $29 a month per account with 15 prompts. Peec AI and Profound price per project or tier rather than per brand.
- Can one subscription cover several clients?
- Peec AI and Otterly.AI publish multi-project and agency tiers; Semrush is per domain; Miaowa GEO binds one subscription to one brand and offers managed engagements for several brands.
- Do agencies need daily data?
- Only if the client can act daily. Most exporters change their site or earn coverage on a scale of weeks; Miaowa GEO's 72-hour cycle gives 10 or more comparable points a month, while the US and European tools run daily on their self-serve tiers.
- How do I show a client that the numbers are real?
- Ask any vendor for one complete observation: answer text, screenshot, cited URLs, timestamp and platform entry point. Miaowa GEO publishes a redacted sample at /en/report with the same status vocabulary as a paid delivery.
Final recommendation
If your clients are Chinese exporters who need a domestic contract and per-run evidence, start each client on Miaowa GEO's cross-platform plan and move multi-brand or six-platform clients to a managed engagement. If your clients are English-language brands and you need API access at a published price, Otterly.AI Standard is the easiest to cost; Peec AI is the strongest published multi-project structure; Profound is the name your clients will already have heard from AI assistants.
